This nagafukuro is made by Michiko, an artist currently in Japan who used to live in Portland, Oregon. She is friends with my shamisen teacher and likes to make nagafukuro for shamisen as well as soft cases for things like shinobue (if you are interested in those, please reach out!). This nagafukuro is made from a soft cloth material with a smooth inner lining and has a fun flower accent on the end of the tie.
The size is 45.5” x 13.5” (115 cm x 33 cm) and fits my Tsugaru-sized shamisen well.
